I am forever grateful and constantly amazed by the mad places I end up as a photographer. In August of this year, I was invited to the Aras to photograph the President, Michael D Higgins, in his study before he leaves office in November. We spent an hour chatting about everything from Marxism to Jeffrey Epstein. A wonderful human being, champion of the Arts and perhaps the last of our great statesmen to hold the office. Thank you to everyone at the Aras for making this happen, and a massive thanks to an Uachtarain for his time and words of wisdom.
